A friend (yes, not me or a client!) has asked about US CGT. Her parents are thinking about selling a condo that they have owned in Colorado for 22 years (so I am guessing this qualifies as a long term capital gain (@ 15%?)).
What US taxes are payable on the sale, please? I may need to know about reporting requirements but am finding out what they currently file.
