R&D tax credits specialist (Ex-Big4). Helping founders, entrepreneurs and business owners get funding, minimise their tax liability and increase their profits.

With over 10 years’ of experience specialising in innovation incentives, I look to bring this set of skills and knowledge gained from the Big-4 to provide clients with an unrivalled experience. I've personally worked on and overseen over hundreds of clients; saving them tens of millions of pounds in the form of corporation tax relief and R&D tax credits, Capital Allowances and Patent Box.

A qualified Chartered Tax Adviser by trade, I've recently assisted one of UK’s tech Unicorns successfully claim R&D tax credits - helping to support start-up to scale ups with getting access to funding; recognising the extra value it brings to businesses accelerating cash flow particularly during this time of economic uncertainty.

Having previously led the North West Innovation Incentives team at PwC, I've since set up a private practice in late 2020 helping clients get practical and pragmatic advice on access to government funding without having to pay the Big-4 fees.

Over the years extensive I've gained experience dealing with HMRC enquiries and helping clients swiftly navigate through the complexities encountered during this process. I have also directly contributed towards the changes in the consumables legislation that took affect in 2015 and working with clients to reduce impact suffered as a result by devising robust methodologies to continually benefit from the R&D regime.

I've worked with clients operating in multiple industries with a particular focus on the following sectors:

- Financial Services
- Technology, Media and Telecoms
- Manufacturing and Engineering
- Oil & Gas

I've spent most of my career in London, but have recently moved to the North West. Given the change with everyone going digital, I'm happy to work with clients, accountants and other professional advisers locally or nationally with any queries they may have in relation to R&D tax credits.
