Customs duty management and customs compliance advisory services to resolve your customs challenges so your business is compliant, productive and more profitable with peace of mind

I specialise only in customs compliance management, resolving customs problems and implementing customs duties planning so you can be confident that I have the expertise and experience to advise on your customs issue.

With over 25 years professionally qualified customs expertise gained in PwC, EY and Quadrel, my experience is that most customs duty problems, customs compliance challenges and the opportunities to save duties usually arise from:

  • managing customs and international trade compliance;
  • importing and exporting goods;
  • calculating the correct amounts of customs duty and when to pay them;
  • managing a supply chain

There are clear and obvious benefits for your business when you:

  • reduce customs duties
  • resolve difficulties with UK Customs (HMRC)
  • manage customs risk
  • achieve customs process efficiencies

I help businesses who need a specialist customs adviser.

I provide:

  • consultancy (providing you with advice on a customs issue)
  • advocacy (representing you to HMRC on a customs issue, ruling, application or dispute)
  • training (developing your customs knowledge and skills in your business)

Tax is a fact of business life. Customs duties are niche taxes, often costly, time consuming and challenging. My mission is to resolve your customs problems, allowing you to focus on your business, not tax.

Customs is not only about tax; its also about following the procedures and documentary requirements which keep goods moving across international borders. We can help here too.

My fascination with customs laws and supply chains drew me into the field of international trade. I have long held an interest in how goods are designed, sourced and made ..... and the journey they take through the supply chain to ultimately meet an end customer or manufacturing need. I have channelled this passion to give confidence to business owners and senior managers through building direct relationships and assuring them that their customs issues are being looked after. On a personal level my goal is to remove anxiety and uncertainty surrounding customs duties which can make a difference to day to day lives in a business; after all, business is personal.

Let me know how I can help you.
