Cormac Brown, an AITI Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA) and a Certified Accountant (ACCA) established Brown & Lombard in 2012. Cormac is a tax professional with over thirty years experience, much of which was spent in the taxation practices of Big 4 Accounting firms as well as with a top tier law firm.
His experience covers most areas of taxation, with an emphasis on direct and transactional taxes, and he has extensive experience in advising family and privately owned businesses on tax matters. He also has specific expertise in private company share schemes and was previously a Council Member and Secretary of the Irish Proshare Association.
Cormac has been a speaker at a wide range of taxation forums, including presentations to the Irish Taxation Institute, the ACCA and international groups of tax lawyers.
