Carol is a Chartered Tax Adviser, providing estate planning advice to individuals, families and Trustees.
Carol has over 30 years experience in tax and has spent the last 20 years focused on dealing with all aspects of inheritance tax, Wills and Trusts. As a Chartered Tax Adviser Carol’s career has been with both small and large accountancy practices and a national law firm and she now runs her own practice called Jupiter Tax Ltd. Carol has also been actively involved in the Association of Taxation Technicians where she was a Council member, and the Chartered Institute of Taxation serving as the Chair of the Professional Standards Committee and Chair of the Sheffield Branch.
Carol has a wealth of experience advising clients on inheritance tax, capital gains tax and the operation of trusts. She also provides assistance on Self Assessment returns for individuals and trustees, as well as inheritance tax compliance work in relation to chargeable transfers and ten year charges/exit charges for relevant property trusts.
As Will writing is often and integral part of estate planning, Carol drafts Wills for clients and prepares Lasting Powers of Attorney.
