In 2008 Matthew Hutton published a new heavyweight book on Estate Planning. In so doing he set a new standard for tax books as he has committed to publishing online updates. Indeed the entire book is also available as a web based resource thus making it very easy to find just what you are looking for. The book was initially published in September 2008 and the online version already now benefits from monthly updates which are incorporated into the text.

Hutton on Estate Planning was evidently written as a labour of love and is sub-titled "Practical Solutions to Today's Problems". This highlights the approach Matthew has adopted throughout the book. The text is also sprinkled with highlighted 'tax traps' as well as extensive case and legislative references.

While the hard copy by itself costs £59 plus £5 p&p, this is essentially an electronic product to benefit from updating at least once a month.  So that is the type of subscription  Matthew encourages firms to take out; the price depending upon the number of users as set out below.
